Perhaps you are curious about who we are or perhaps you already know. We are Freddy and Marlene, in the industry of health and fitness and bodybuilding. We are affectionately known as The Gringos in Costa Rica. You may also know us as the owners of SuperFlex Gym and from the television program entitled "Salud Por Vida con los Gringos" (Health for Life) on channel 9 Five Sport.
Who We Are
We have more than 54 years of combined experience. We have lived in California and Arizona and in those years we have helped transform the bodies of many athletes, mothers, fathers, young men and young women, all with different goals. Some are models, some compete in bodybuilding with 3% body fat, some are Olympic runners, and others just want to feel better and be proud of the way they look.
Qualifications
We are certified in Sports Fitness Training and Sports Nutrition. Marlene is a NPC Bodybuilding Champion in the United States and Freddy is her personal trainer, coach and husband. We have coached, trained and designed nutrition programs to improve the speed of Olympic athletes. Our client, Kelly is a 10,000 meter Olympic runner who was ranked number 2 in the U.S. and a member of the U.S. Olympic running team. What We Do
We transform bodies and we improve the performance of any type of athlete. Runners, soccer players, cyclists, tri-athletes, power lifters, tennis players, golfers, body builders, and all other athletes can improve. We have helped various types of athletes improve through sports specific training and sports specific nutrition programs.
